Our WWOOFERS share their experiences from Ardalanish
I smelt and saw happiness. It
was like a sunray touching my skin. The morning dew wettened
my feet and I felt happy. Happy - daylight had risen - the night
was gone, I felt, I saw, I smelled, I lived. All I was, I was
it now - in this particular moment. A spider, leaving it's webwork,
a ceterpillar changing to a butterfly, an ant getting rid of
it's burden. All around me life, chirping and humming - and
I was part of it. Simply a part of it - though special. And
I was I!
Sarah, 18, describes her experience at Ardalanish
I cannot remember a time in
my life when I have ever been so happy as the time I spent here
on Ardalanish! Not only have I felt so completely at home here,
but I have caught glimpses of perfection and now have a much
clearer idea of just how life is meant to be. I owe you many
thanks for letting me into your lives, I have learned loads
about farming as well as life lessons which will be with me
forever.
Thankyou note from Emily, 18
